House + Pantheon

JUST look at this house. No, now you are looking at columns and pediments. The house is inside the Romanesque folly. Giuseppe Garibaldi, the famous Italian military and political figure, once stayed at this wooden shack. He is considered to be the father of Modern Italy. Sentimental admirers could not resist emphasizing the stay and build this thing over it. One column even goes right through the porch. The ‘pantheon’ was torn down in 1952. The house is now a museum and is located on Stated Island, NY.
