OUTLAW motorcycle clubs always use tough names to emphasize their bad-ass reputation. Think of the Hell’s Angels and Bandidos. But not the Galloping Goose Motorcycle Club from Los Angeles, California. The Galloping Goose MC was founded in 1942, making it one of the oldest outlaw biker clubs of the world. As a patch they use a running middle finger with on the background an outhouse. Los Angeles artist John Altoon drew out the original design on a cocktail napkin on the counter of a bar. The photos are made by Bill Ray in 1965.
